Life is full of irony, surprises, shocks and awes.

Latest in the series of shocks that I have encountered off late includes a friend of mine.

Hong Kong

Well, so I was talking to this friend of mine whom I know for a very long time. She asked me about my future plan and I started off with my usual rantings about how I want to live the world, and travel to far off places and experience different cultures. She listened me say all the interesting things about the ways in which one gets to see different places in the world. And I gotta be honest with you, I felt superior when I was telling her about my plans. After all, it was I who was telling her about the steps to be taken to go abroad for the first time. Mind you, I am yet to set foot outside Indian subcontinent myself !

So few days back I was checking out face book as usual without anything in mind when I suddenly stumbled across her photographs that she had uploaded.

And it was from her trip in Hong Kong.

And I am ashamed ! I gave her the pep talk assuming that I would make it outside the country before her at least ! I am looking forward to talking to her. Lets see how she is going to make fun of me. Will keep the readers posted of my humiliation.
